All Booked Up!!

I am completely booked up from now through the end of November! I have appointments available in December, but cannot guarantee delivery in time for Christmas.

For everyone who has a session scheduled with me over the next few weeks, I am really looking forward to spending time with you and capturing some wonderful images for you!

A Fun, Fun Morning!

What a morning I had today! I picked up J.B. at 8:30 a.m. and off we went. We hit about 4 or 5 different locations ... dodged the mall patrol man, traipsed through grasses taller than ourselves, dodged stickers and spiders ... we had a blast! J.B. was up for just about anything I suggested! Here's just a couple for now ... promise I'll have some more tomorrow.

7 years ago today.

I remember exactly where I was... Where my three children were. I remember the fear and sadness I felt...

I will think of the thousands of people who lost someone special that day. Hugs to them all.

For Little Miss "C"

The first time I saw this beautiful little girl was about 6 months ago when she came to get her picture taken. She couldn't sit up on her own and her hair was much darker. Now look at her! What an absolute doll!



Almost one with beautiful golden curls! Same big, blue eyes though! And she was so very easy to work with! Just so long as she had something to hold in her hand.



What an afternoon we had. We were to meet at the park at 3:00, but when I got there a nice policeman had the entrance blocked off and waved me on by! Some sort of "disc golf" tournament....



Grandma J and I never exchanged cell numbers (big no-no!) so I was fretting big time! We did end up getting in touch with eachother and the nice policeman did let us into the park. And, despite the hot, humid temperatures, we did manage to get a ton of adorable photos of Little Miss "C". My eyes are gritty and grainy and it's just about my bedtime, but I did want to get a couple posted. There will plenty more to come soon!

Love the following image. This was one of the last ones we took and I think it reflects how we were all feeling by this time ... hot and tired!

Curly Locks

After a lifetime around me, my children SELDOM get excited about having their pictures taken. But this weekend my youngest was more than willing to sit for me.



She was blessed with beautiful silky, straight hair, completely opposite of my thick curly hair. But, of course, we all know that we want what we don't have! So we spent some time French braiding her hair the night before and she was delighted with her curly new locks! I loved it! So pretty!



Almost 13 ... I can't believe how grown up she's getting to be. Seems like just a blink ago that she was only 3 ...
