Love that!!! Under Information you will find some information about me, as well as pricing information. I have a couple other information sections that I will be adding in the near future.
I'm pretty excited about it! I put
a lot of blood, sweat and brain cells into it. I hope you'll go check it out! I would love to hear what you think. Feel free to send me a comment or e-mail.
Thanks for looking!!

Any little girl would be lucky to have big brothers like these two. They were just so sweet with her.
Last night I had a photo shoot with the three most adorable kids! It was a little hot and sticky due to some storms skirting the area, {and my melting point is about 72 degrees}, but these boys didn't seem to mind one bit!! Their little sister, on the other hand, would have preferred I pack my bags and leave! haha! I completely understand where she was coming from. My youngest used to be just like that when she was little.
Look at this amazing car!! Those of you who know me also know that I just flip over old cars, old tractors, old barns .... anything old! So I was tickled pink to see this classic beauty! What a perfect backdrop for these two handsome young men.
These kids are just too cute! Love their blonde heads, big blue eyes and rosey cheeks! And you can just see how much they love eachother. I love the way the boys hold Little Miss "J"s hands. So sweet...
This is Mr. "J". Easy going and willing to try anything I asked.
This is Mr. "B". He's got a bit of a mischevious streak. He was determined to give his siblings "bunny ears" at every opportunity!
Miss "J" was pretty happy inside the car. She loved the enormous steering wheel and proceeded to honk the horn several times!
I absolutely adore photos of people holding hands and walking together. This one is particularly sweet.
To the "S" family ... thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your kids! They are just charming and were so much fun! I will have more photos to post soon!Be sure and check back for Part Two of "A Hot & Sticky Evening!"
This is Little Miss "R". She belongs to Little Miss "T" and Little Miss "S". She is their baby sister. Up till now she's been pretty camera shy. I'm hoping that next time she comes to visit we can do a real photo shoot. Maybe all three of the girls together!!
It's music to my ears!!! For all us moms of school age kids, we can breathe a little sigh of relief. No more homework for 2+ months!!! For me it means a whole lot less running around ... and saving on that sky-high gas!!! We're not big summer do-ers. We pretty much just take it easy over the summer - you know, R-E-L-A-X !!
My next door neighbor's grandkids came from far, faaaaaaaar away (ok, just from up North) to visit for the weekend. So, of course, I had to go snap a few photos! And what adorable kids they are too! Just look at Miss "K" in that chair! What a beauty!
It's been so hot here the past couple of weeks, with temps reaching close to 100, it was nice to have a little cool-down ... back into the upper 80s. What a relief! And a couple hours after I took these photos it began to rain. A nice long soaking rain! Wonderful for North Carolina's drought.
You may recognize Miss "T" here and Miss "S" up there at the top. They came to visit too! These kids are all cousins and very close in age. They had a ball outside playing together.
Mister "C" flying on the boardwalk. I just love the sherberty colors of this series of photos. So pretty and summery!
It was great to meet you Miss "K" and Mister "C"!!! Hope to see you again soon!
Don't you just love him?! I found him peering at me from a geranium bush this morning! Did you know that their heads actually swivel all the way around??? His little head followed me everywhere I went. I ran and got my macro lens, but I must say, he was a toughy to photograph. My camera had trouble distinguishing him from the green of the plant. I actually had to switch to manual focus! eeeeeghads! But I'm glad I was able to capture at least a few of him, even if they're not perfect.
These are the kind of photographs that inspire me to be a photographer. Capturing unscripted moments and preserving them forever. These are the kind of photographs that tug at my heartstrings. They're just my style.
It has been unbearably HOT here the last several days. Close to 100! And it's only the first part of June! Not too far from the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway in beautiful North Carolina, we usually enjoy some pleasant 80 degree days with low humidity this time of year. But not this year. It's not fit for man or beast outside.
I did spot a pair of NC wrens bathing in the sprinkler water that was collecting on my deck steps the other day. They were sooo cute, just splashing and flapping in the little bits of water. I'm sure they were thinking I was the greatest thing since sliced bread to provide them a little relief from the heat. I've been making sure to keep my bird bath filled with fresh water every morning for my little feathered friends.
It appears the heat and humidity are here. Swinging in a hammock is a favorite summer pastime for the young and the old....
but....how many of you can do
T H I S ?????
Not I!
I can't believe I haven't posted for a week and a half!!! Time sure gets away from me sometimes! I've been so busy lately
and it's the end of the school year (thank goodness!)
and I've had some major computer problems that we've been trying to work out for a couple of weeks. Before I know it time's just gone!
My neighbor's great-nephew was over visiting the other day. I thought these pictures of him and their dog were just too cute not to share!
